Woww.
The past six weeks have been a blur and I'm still coming to terms with the fact that:
I've moved to Hong Kong.
Today.
It was all very sudden as I wasn't expecting any type of move to happen for at least another year or so. Which would give me time to do all these things I wanted to see and do and eat for the next year!
Like what, you ask? Um, like hunting hotaru (fireflies), eating every type of perfect (and expensive) fruit they grow, traveling to more beautiful sites...
Anyways, long story short, I finished up my work in Tokyo at the end of May, and had 2 weeks to pack up, pay taxes, and get my affairs in order before we went on a 2-week vacation.
What kind of vacation? A road trip through Kyushu! It's been something I've been wanting to do for years but we never allocated the time. Anyways, I'll write a whole long post about it soon as it was really a great adventure and one of our best trips (I feel).
Now, I'm staying in Wan Chai and will start looking for a permanent apartment from tomorrow. Hopefully we can find the right one ASAP!
